Featured Project: Pervious Driveway on Lake DeNeveu
We are proud to feature this driveway in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin here. This is a pervious driveway, meaning that the concrete is actually a porous mixture, that can drastically reduce runoff by allowing water to pass right through it to the aggregate. This is a great solution for snow, allowing built up snow to melt right off without causing ice build up.
Quality control was very important for this pour; it was important to make sure it was just porous enough to allow water to drain without compromising any strength or durability. With our experience and the help of some skilled concrete contractors, we were able to complete this pour flawlessly and could not be more happy with it. In fact, we won the 2016 Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association's award for best pervious concrete project of the year!
